A former Executive Committee member of the  Ghana Football Association(GFA), Mr. Kojo Yankah has accused the media of not being fair to the previous administration of the country's football governing body led by former President Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Mr. Yankah's comments come amidst the ongoing media discussions about a reported legacy debt left behind by the previous administration.

According to document from the GFA to clubs, the old administration left behind a debt of over Ghc 11 million.

The details of the debts were contained in the document titled “GFA Legacy debts” which was presented to clubs during a virtual meeting held last week.

The FA released the documents in response to calls for the $500,000 stimulus package from FIFA to be shared among clubs.

But Speaking on the subject matter in an interview on Happy FM in Accra, Kojo Yankah says the media should also channel their energy on the properties left behind by the Kwesi Nyantakyi led administration and not only on the debts.

“They should also talk about the things they came to meet. The $1m from FIFA and others they are not been fair to the old administration if they only keep stressing on the old debts”.
