The Ghana Football Association's presidential elections has ended in a stalemate after the first round with none of the them getting the needed 50 +1.

After round one, Kurt Okraku won the GFA elections with 44 votes, followed by George Afriyie who amassed 40 votes. Nana Yaw Amponsah managed to get 27 votes while Fred Pappoe only managed six votes We are heading to a run off between Okraku and Afriyie because none had 50% + 1.

Former Ghana Football Association vice president had six votes.

The other two contestants Amanda Clinton and George Ankomah had no votes.

They heard into the run off with George Afriyie battling it out with Kurt E.S Okraku with the winner emerging as the new GFA president.

Second Round

Kurt Okraku leads the second round of the Ghana FA presidential elections but could not win since he couldn't beat the 50 percent plus one vote once again.

Kurt Okraku 59 (49.6%) George Afriyie 43 (36.1 %) Nana Yaw Amponsah 15 (13.4%) We are now heading into the third and final round.
