Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member, Kojo Yankah has launched a vitriolic attack on the technical director of the Ghana Football Association, Francis Oti Akenteng, describing the former Hearts of Oak coach as lacking the credential to head the FA’s technical directorate.

Yankah, who doubles as the chairman of the Western Regional Football Association claims Oti Akente has had no impact and relevance to the cause of Ghana football under his tenure as the technical director of the association.

Oti Akenteng, a CAF technical committee member, has been in charge of the technical directorate of the GFA for close to a decade, but Yankah believes his stay has been a complete waste of time.
“On what merit did Oti Akenteng get this position as technical director and what impact has he made to Ghana football ever since he took the position”,

“If he was competent enough, why would the GFA go for [Klaus] Topmoller as the technical director so what will be the role of Oti Akenteng”,
“My wife questioned me sometime ago whether I hate him [Oti Akenteng] but I don’t hate him but I simply don’t know how he was appointed to that position..I simply don’t know. I don’t know whether he lobbied for the position or not but he is not credible”,

“What initiative has he introduced as the technical director of Ghana football, i don’t know. Always walking about declaring himself son of God..son of God and what is that for”,

“The only thing you hear about him is he attending CAF conference and always going from this place to that place without making any impact”, He added.
