In a bid to bolster grassroots football development, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has unveiled plans to conduct free first aid training courses for Colts (Juvenile) clubs across the country.

The initiative, announced by Mr. Kurt E. S. Okraku, President of the Association and Chairman of the National Juvenile Committee, underscores the GFA's commitment to enhancing the foundational aspects of the sport.

Under the program, Colts clubs from all regions will nominate a representative to participate in the free First Aid training sessions, which will be conducted prior to the commencement of league competitions in all ten football administrative regions.

This move aligns with the GFA's strategic approach to addressing the fundamental needs of the game and ensuring the safety and well-being of players at the grassroots level.

Upon completion of the training, club representatives will undergo assessment by FA instructors, with successful participants receiving certificates as recognition of their achievement.

The Ghana Football Association reaffirms its dedication to advancing the football landscape across all levels of organized football in the country, emphasizing the importance of equipping clubs with essential skills and knowledge for a safer and more prosperous footballing environment.
