Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Kudjoe Fianoo has been named as the executive chairman of Ghana Premier League side Accra Great Olympics.

Earlier this year, the former Ashantigold SC Chief Executive was named as part of a 10 member board of the club but has now been elevated to the position of executive director to manage the day to day affairs of the club.

The decision was made after the shareholders of the club was conducted in 9th March, 2020.

In a statement released by the club, it stated that Mr Fianoo has been mandated to restructure the club to greater heights.

“We wish to bring to the attention of the General public that at a meeting of Shareholders of Accra Great Olympics football club held on 9th March, 2020, Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo has been appointed as an Executive Director of the club,” an excerpt from the public notice from Great Olympics stated.

“He has been tasked with the duty of restructuring the administration of the club as well as liaising with the technical team.”

“Mr. Fianoo brings on board a wealth of experience in football administration in Ghana.”

The new executive director has in the past worked with Obuasi Ashantigold helping them to win the Ghana League title twice.
