Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo scored for KRC Genk in their 2-1 win over Lokeren at Daknam Stadium in the Belgian League on thursday.

Genk took the lead through Aidoo in the 56th who registered his third goal of the campaign this season.

Dante Vanzeir doubled their lead in the 67th minute after some impressive spell of pressure from the visitors.

left-back Ari Skulason got a consolation goal for Lokeren in the dying minutes from the penalty spot but the Genk held on to grab all three points. 

The victory meant that Genk are now 7th on the standings in the Belgian top-flight division after 23 matches played with 30 points.
