Ghana defender Kassim Nuhu has been ruled out of Black Stars AFCON 2019 qualifier against Kenya.

The 23 year old picked an ankle injury on Saturday in TSG Hoffenheim clash with Freiburg in the German Bundesliga.

Nuhu was immediately sent to the hospital where x-rays confirmed that he will not be fit in time for the clash against the Harambee Stars next week.

Ghana will also be without the services of the experienced John Boye who picked up a thigh injury while play for Metz.

Subsequently, Red Star Belgrade defender Rashid Sumaila has been handed a late call-up by Coach  Kwesi Appiah.
