Ghana defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh was a notable absentee for English side Wolverhampton Wanderers as they traveled to Switzerland to begin their pre-season camp fueling rumors of a potential exit this summer.

The 26 year old joined Wolves on a free transfer last summer after leaving German side Eintracht Braunschweig.

Ghanaguardian.com understands that Ofosu-Ayeh who hasn't yet made a first team appearance for the club is not in the plans of manager Nuno Espirito Santo going forward.

Ayeh has had to battle with a recurrent ankle injury which has affected him since joining the promoted Premier League side.

Wolves are ready to listen to offers for the defender ahead of the new European season.
