Ghana has been placed in Group A for the 2024 edition of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where they will compete against hosts Egypt, Morocco, and Tanzania.

The tournament is set to take place from October 19 to 24, 2024, in the coastal city of Hurghada, Egypt.

The official draw for the tournament was conducted on Thursday afternoon in Cairo, heightening anticipation for what promises to be an exciting event.

Ghana’s national beach soccer team, the Black Sharks, will open their campaign against the host nation, Egypt, in a much-anticipated match on the first day of the tournament.

Following their opening clash, the Black Sharks will face Morocco on October 21. Their final group stage match will be against Tanzania, as they seek to secure a spot in the knockout rounds.
