Henry Asante Twum, Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has underscored the Black Stars' commitment to approach each opponent with respect in the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Ghana was drawn into Group F alongside Angola, Niger, and Sudan.

In an interview with Asempa FM, monitored by Footballghana.com, Asante Twum spoke confidently about Ghana's preparations under head coach Otto Addo, emphasizing their determination to secure qualification.

"The technical team, led by Otto Addo, has already begun preparations to ensure our qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations," he affirmed.

Reflecting on Ghana's consistent participation in recent AFCON tournaments, Asante Twum highlighted the importance of not underestimating any team in their group.

"We have been consistent participants over the past decade, but we understand the importance of not underestimating any team in our group," he emphasized.

He also expressed optimism about Ghana's chances, noting the early start of their preparations. "Work has already started, and we are focused on qualifying once again," Asante Twum reiterated.

Ghana, boasting four AFCON titles and aiming for a fifth, sees this campaign as crucial for reclaiming continental glory.

The last AFCON triumph for the Black Stars dates back to 1982, making their upcoming journey under coach Otto Addo pivotal for both national pride and footballing success.
