The Ghana Football Association headquarters in Ridge, Accra, will resume normal work since it was closed following rampant bribery allegations captured in an investigative video.

The governing body has not functioned since June 8 when the Ghana Police Service declared it a crime scene in the aftermath of the airing of the Anas tape and its workers have not been at their posts.

The fate of the workers of the FA has been in the balance amid fears of losing their jobs in the wake of the long-standing stalemate.

However they resume work as FIFA’s Normalisation Committee to bring Ghana Football back to its footing takes over today.

According to FIFA the committee’s task will be the following;

- To review the GFA statutes to ensure compliance with the requirements of FIFA and CAF, particularly art. 15 of the FIFA Statutes, and;

- Once the GFA statutes meet the requirements of FIFA and CAF, to organise and conduct elections of a GFA executive committee on the basis of the revised GFA statutes.

It's a massive relief for several of these staff who are largely committed workers of the embattled Ghana Football Association.
