Ghanaian striker Joe Dodoo is set to leave Scottish giants Rangers after a frustrating spell since he joined from Leicester City.

The 22 year old is among some top profile players to be shown the exit as the club prepares the start of a summer exodus.

After a disastrous loan spell at Charlton, Dodoo has spent most of his time with Rangers playing the odd game for the Under-20s.

Former manager Mark Warburton brought Dodoo in 2016 from Leicester on a high transfer fee but the Ghanaian has failed to light up the Ibrox park.

Rangers have started a rebuilding process, with appointment of Steven Gerard as head coach to give Celtic some much-needed competition in Scotland.
