The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has urged residents of the region to earnestly seek divine intervention through prayer to help cleanse the nation of corruption, moral decline, and practices that hinder Ghana’s progress.
Speaking at the National Prayer and Thanksgiving Day service held at the Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC) in Kumasi on Tuesday, July 1, Dr. Amoakohene emphasised that the country’s challenges extend beyond politics and policies.
He called for a spiritual awakening to restore righteousness, integrity, and accountability in both public and private life.
“As we are gathered here today, we pray that God heals our lands from all the rot and corrupt activities. We seek that God gives us one heart of purpose and unity that will drive our national developmental agenda,” he said.
