Ghana bounced back in emphatic fashion to seal third place at the Unity Cup with a dominant 4-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago at the GTech Community Stadium.
Captain Jordan Ayew set the tone early with a composed finish in the 6th minute, before debutant Razak Simpson doubled the lead just six minutes later with a well-taken strike. Mohammed Fuseini made it three before halftime, also marking his debut with a goal in the 41st minute.
The Black Stars continued their dominance in the second half, with Lawrence Agyekum capping the performance with a fine goal in the 58th minute — his first for the national team.
Another notable moment came in the second half as Barcelona B winger Abdul Aziz Issah made his senior debut, replacing Agyekum and impressing with his confident display.
The match, played in front of a vibrant crowd, was a showcase of Ghana’s emerging talent and resilience after their earlier loss to Nigeria. Team photographer Emmanuel Osei captured the passion, goals, and celebrations from a memorable night for the Black Stars.
