Head Coach of Ghana’s U-17 national team, Stephen Frimpong Manso, is currently representing the nation at the FIFA Youth National Team Coaches Exchange Program in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, as part of a three-member technical delegation.

Joining him are Assistant Coach Jacob Nettey and Coach Mubarak Sumaila Gardo, with the trio departing Accra on Sunday, June 22 for the five-day event.

The program, part of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS), brings together coaches and technical directors from 10 African countries, including nations that have secured qualification for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.

The FIFA TDS is aimed at boosting national team standards by improving talent identification and development frameworks across both male and female football.

The Coaches Exchange Program serves as a vital knowledge-sharing platform, allowing youth national team coaches to collaborate and adopt best practices in player development.

Back home, Assistant U-17 Coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang has assumed supervisory duties over the Black Starlets’ training camp currently underway at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Coach Frimpong Manso and Jacob Nettey are expected to return and rejoin the Starlets' preparations on Friday, June 27, 2025, as Ghana intensifies its development drive ahead of upcoming international competitions.
