According to projections based on 216 Constituencies out of 275, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo of the NPP is most likely to win the 2016 elections.

Results collated from 216 out of 275 constituencies show that the NPP has garnered 53.00% and 4,526,046 of votes as against the N.D.C's 45.15% and 3,856,129 votes so far.

Judging from this results, the New Patriotic Party is most likely to win the elections.

The 59 constituencies left to be added to the tally has very little or no power to significantly impact or overturn the lead of the New Patriotic Party.

Even if the NDC continues to win the remaining constituencies at a rate of 50% the ruling party will be unable to meet the 50 plus 1 percent required to win the elections.

Flagbearer of the NPP had called for calmness earlier insisting that his party was "quietly confident".

The official outcome of the elections are yet to be officially declared by the Electoral Commission but does not prevent the media from provisionally making projections.

So far, the NPP has won 96 constituencies out of 161 constituency results while the NDC has managed 65 seats out of the 161 constituencies. No other political has won a parliamentary seat so far.#
