Mr. Ali Ajami, Chief Marketing Officer of Twillium Industrial Company has stated that the company is proud to support  the Ghana Olympic Committee and entreated athletes who have qualified to the 2021 Olympic Games in Japan to win medals to make Ghana proud.

He believes Ghana is blessed with talents and needed more support in grooming them to harness their potential to reach their goals.

“Olympic Games come with huge expenses and with support, Ghanaian athletes are capable of becoming champions,” he added.

The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has signed a lucrative sponsorship deal with the Twillium Industrial Company Limited.

The two-year deal will see the Ghana Olympic Committee getting Gh¢200,000 to support the growth of sports in Ghana.

The sponsorship deal was signed on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Media Center of the Accra Sports Stadium.

Twillium Industrial Company are the producers of Verna Natural Mineral Water, Rush Energy Drink and McBerry Biscuits.

The Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Professor Peter Twumasi thanked Twillium Industrial Company Limited for the support and heralded them for their enormous contributions to development of sports in Ghana.

President of the GOC, Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah expressed gratitude to Twillium, Ashfoam, and Toyota Ghana for their support towards Ghana’s participation at the Olympic Games.

Mr. Albert Frimpong, Chairman of the Marketing & Sponsorship Committee of the GOC urged other companies who wish Ghanaian athletes to shine to support the GOC.

The Sports Minister, Hon Mustapha Ussif who witnessed the ceremony commended Twellium and the GOC President for working behind the scene to earn the nation the lucrative sponsorship deal.
