In a thrilling match on Sunday, Ghanaian players Michael Baidoo and Jalal Abdullai both found the back of the net, leading IF Elfsborg to a comeback victory over Kalmar FF with a score of 3-1 in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
The match began with Kalmar FF taking an early lead through Dino Islamovic, who scored just four minutes into the game.
However, Elfsborg showed great resilience and equalized shortly after with an own goal from Lars Saetra in the 8th minute.
Jalal Abdullai then put Elfsborg ahead in the 40th minute, giving them a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
The second half was tightly contested, but Michael Baidoo secured the win for Elfsborg by scoring in the 86th minute, sealing the match at 3-1.
With this victory, IF Elfsborg moves up to 5th place on the Swedish Allsvenskan table, thanks in part to the standout performances from the Ghanaian duo.
