Ghanaian attacker Bernard Morrison has been officially unveiled as a new player for Moroccan champions AS FAR Rabat, marking his reunion with coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Coach Nabi, who is currently in charge of AS FAR Rabat after his tenure with Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC, recommended the signing of Morrison as they prepare for the upcoming season.

The 30-year-old Ghanaian forward has signed a one-year contract with the Moroccan champions, making the move on a free transfer after departing from Young Africans at the conclusion of the 2022-23 campaign.

During his time with Young Africans, Morrison made six appearances and found the back of the net once in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign, where they reached the finals but were ultimately defeated by Algerian side USM Alger.

Additionally, Morrison played a pivotal role in helping Young Africans defend their Tanzanian Premier League title.

Morrison had come close to signing with Tanzanian side Singida Fountain Gate, but the deal fell through at a later stage.

The seasoned forward has previously played for South African giants Orlando Pirates, Congolese side AS Vita Club, and Simba SC, the bitter rivals of Young Africans.
