Ghana and Los Angeles FC forward Latif Blessing has been handed a fine by the Major League Soccer(MLS) for some infractions.

The player has been handed an undisclosed fine by the MLS for his actions in a mass brawl when his team played a match with San Jose Earthquakes.

His teammate Canadian left-winger Raheem Edwards was also found guilty of the same offence has been handed similar punishment.

Los Angeles FC was also given a warning after being found in violation of the league's "mass confrontation policy" during its weekend match with the San Jose Earthquakes.

The Ghanaian forward has not been the same player this season in the MLS as after 16 matches he has scored just a goal while failing to make a single assist.

He has been at his current club for the last four years after his transfer from Sporting Kansas in 2017.

Latift Blessing has been in the US since departing Liberty Professionals in January 2017 after scoring 17 goals and emerging as the top goal scorer in Ghana that year.
