Ghanaian forward Mohammed Dauda has signed a season-long loan deal with Spanish lower-tier club UD Ibiza from CD Tenerife.

The 26-year-old former Asante Kotoko attacker is expected to enhance Ibiza’s squad as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Dauda, a former Ghana youth international, is poised to play a pivotal role in the Spanish third-tier club's campaign.

Dauda's European career began in 2017 when he left Asante Kotoko after a standout performance in the Ghana Premier League.

He joined Belgian giants Anderlecht but faced challenges securing a regular spot in the senior team. This led to several loan spells, including at Dutch side Vitesse and Denmark’s Esbjerg fB.

In the 2021/2022 season, Dauda made a notable impact in Spain’s second tier with FC Cartagena, scoring nine goals in 35 appearances.

His strong performances earned him a permanent move to CD Tenerife. However, after two and a half seasons with Tenerife, Dauda was loaned to CD Eldense for the latter part of last season.

Dauda's move to UD Ibiza represents a new chapter in his career, with hopes that his experience and goal-scoring ability will contribute significantly to the team’s success.
