Richard Boateng has been chosen by fans as Real Oviedo's Player of the Month for August.


The Ghanaian midfielder beat competition from teammates Saúl Berjón, Alfonso, Bárcenas and Tejera.

Boateng thus becomes the first player to win the Five Star Trophy Mahou of the season.

The player arrived from Melilla has been a starter in the first three games with good performances in all.
