Ghanaian striker Abu Danladi was on the score sheet for his Major League Soccer(MLS) side Minnesota United on Thursday dawn in the 4-0 pre-season friendly win over English Premier League side Everton.

The American side took a shocking 3-0 lead at the halftime whistle despite the Toffees creating all manner of chances as Dele Ali missed from about a yard.

A penalty kick from Reynoso, Everton own goal by new signing Tarkowski forced by Kemar Lawrence’s cross and a cleaned-up rebound from Luis Amarilla all contributed to a sizable advantage inside 36 minutes.g win

Piling on the goals, Minnesota settled the final scoreline in the 77th minute when Ghanaian striker Abu Danladi connected to a cross from new fullback Alan Benitez.

The Goodison Park club escaped relegation last season by the skin of their teeth and have been woeful in pre-season having lost 2-0 to Arsenal the last time.

Abu Danladi, 26, is a product of the famed Right to Dream Academy and has been in the USA for some time.

He has played for the likes of Santa Barbara, Ventura County, UCLA Bruins, Forward Madison, Nashville.
