Italian born Ghanaian striker Giovanni Kyeremateng has completed a move to Unione Sportiva Savoia 1908 from Serie D side Polisportiva Vastogirardi.

The 29 year old Arona born has played the majority of his football in the basement divisions of Italian league since leaving Inter Milan's youth team in 2008.

He has spent time player for a lot teams in the lower ranks playing for the likes of Monza, Montichiari, Treviso, Bellaria, Foggia among others.

The 29 year old has had a nomadic career in the basement of Italian league playing for more than a dozen clubs in his career so far.

In the 2019/2020 season he played for Serie D side Vastogirardi, scoring 14 goals in 24 appearances.

After signing for his new side this is what the striker had to say:

“I am very happy to have landed in an important and ambitious place. I thank Director Musa and President Mazzamauro for having strongly sought and wanted me. I hope to repay their trust on the pitch to take away some great satisfactions together with my new teammates and fans,”

The striker signed for just a year meaning it runs out in 2021.
