Raphael Dwamena, the 27-year-old Ghanaian forward, expressed gratitude to God for his goal in a friendly match against Inter Milan, despite his team's eventual 4-2 loss to the 2022/23 Champions League finalists.

Taking to Instagram after the game, Dwamena shared his sentiments: "…𝐼𝑇 𝐼𝑆 𝑁𝑂𝑇 𝑂𝐹 𝐻𝐼𝑀 π‘Šπ»π‘‚ π‘ŠπΌπΏπΏπ‘†, 𝑁𝑂𝑅 𝑂𝐹 𝐻𝐼𝑀 π‘Šπ»π‘‚ π‘…π‘ˆπ‘π‘†, π΅π‘ˆπ‘‡ 𝑂𝐹 𝐺𝑂𝐷 π‘Šπ»π‘‚ π‘†π»π‘‚π‘Šπ‘† π‘€πΈπ‘…πΆπ‘Œ." Dwamena also referenced the scripture Romans 9:16.

Dwamena's impactful goal came early in the game, just seven minutes in, stunning Inter Milan and giving his team, Egnatia, an initial lead. The first half ended with Egnatia ahead due to Dwamena's contribution.

Although Inter Milan managed to level the score through Nicolo Barella ten minutes into the second half, Egnatia quickly regained the lead. Fernando Medeiros extended Egnatia's advantage with a penalty in the 66th minute.

However, Inter Milan made a swift comeback, with Lautaro Martinez scoring twice in the 79th and 82nd minutes, securing a 4-2 victory in a mere three minutes.

Dwamena's noteworthy goal adds to his tally for the season, having already scored three goals in two UEFA Conference League matches. The striker's dedication and divine inspiration continue to be a driving force on the field.
