Ghanaian winger Kamal Sowah made his debut for his new club AZ Alkmaar on Sunday in their thumping win over Goa Ahead Eagles on Sunday.

The 22 year old winger joined his new side in January on loan from Belgian side Club Brugge and did not waste time as he shone in his cameo appearance.

It was an emphatic 4-1 victory for the away side in a match they won comfortably with the Ghanaian winger coming on in the second half in place of Hakon Evjen in the 63rd minute of the game at the De Adelaarshorst Stadium.

The Ghanaian shone at OH Leuven last season forcing Club Brugge to stump up the cash to buy him from Leicester City.

Despite a good start, the pacy left footed winger struggled at time at Brugge and has a chance to prove himself in Holland with AZ Alkmaar.

The home side Go Ahead Eagles took drew first blood in the 25th minute through Luuk Brouwers but two minutes later the visitor pulled parity through Sam Beukema.

Alkmaar turned the heat on the home side as Vangelis Pavledis grabbed a brace for Alkmaar before Beukema made it 4-1 in the second half.
