Young Ghanaian forward Paul Ayongo has completed a move to Portuguese Liga 2 side Academico de Viseu

He joined the side after passing his mandatory medical examination on Thursday after agreeing terms with his new club.

The 23 year has signed a two year deal with his new club as gets set to help his team in the coming season.

Ayongo joins the lower tier side from topflight side FC Paços de Ferreira where he has been on the periphery after several loan spells.

Last season he was farmed out on loan to Segunda division side Mafra where he scored 4 goal in 25 outings.

His new side have been briskly augmenting their squad as  Ayongo becomes their fifth acquisition this summer.

Ayongo has been in Portugal the last six years having began his Portuguese adventure at lower tier side Oeiras before making the move to Amarante where he came to the attention of Paços de Ferreira after a breakthrough season where he scored 34 goals for the lower tier before joining Pacos later.
