Richmond Gyamfi, a promising 19-year-old forward, has signed a five-year deal with Danish club Aarhus Gymnastikforening (AGF) from Hobro IF ahead of the upcoming season.

Expressing his excitement, Gyamfi stated, "It is a big day for me and I am proud that I can now switch to a big club like AGF.

I feel ready to take the next step in Danish football and AGF is the right place for me to continue my development. Now, I am looking forward to meeting my new teammates and taking part in the start-up."

Gyamfi will join his new team in the coming days as pre-season training begins. During his brief stint at Hobro, he made a significant impact by scoring three goals and providing four assists in ten matches.

AGF Sports Manager Stig Inge Bjørnebye praised Gyamfi's abilities, saying, "Richmond fits into our style of play. He is fast, has good physicality, and is a skilled finisher.

He gives us some x-factor and has a forwardness to his game that is unusual and impressive.

We have followed him intensely in the spring and are very happy to be able to welcome him to AGF, where he can now continue his positive development in our framework and release his talent even more."
