Defender Emmanuel Sowah-Adjei has was given an opportunity to train with the Anderlecht first team ahead of their Belgian Pro League match against Kortrijk on Sunday.

The Ghanaian youngster has made a steady progress while playing for the reserve team of the Belgian giant and his good performance has earned him promotion to Frank Vercauteren's forest team.

In the past week, he has trained with the senior team and could be named in the matchday squad for the Kortrijk game tomorrow.

The right-back who was on the verge of leaving the club Las June, was in action for Anderlecht last week when the side featured in a friendly game during the international break.

He is now relishing tasting some competitive first-team football very soon and will be very happy if that comes this Sunday.
