Presidential Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama says the Ghanaian electorate made a terrible call electing Nana Akufo-Addo as President.
The former President cited present challenges including the current economic downturn, high unemployment rates, and abandoned developmental projects, urging voters not to be deceived into voting for the NPP in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Speaking during a mini rally at Ave Dakpa in the Akatsi North constituency, as part of his four-day campaign tour of the Volta Region, Mr. Mahama accused the ruling New Patriotic Party of being deceitful to Ghanaians with well-coined policy tags.
“This NPP of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia is a terrible mistake Ghanaians made. They packaged themselves very nicely with very words and sweet promises and in the Bible they tell us that it is the devil who will come with sweet promises and sweet talk to tempt you into sin. So you must always be careful of people who come making sweet promises,” former President Mahama said.
The NDC flagbearer itemized some policies the New Patriotic had paraded around by mere sloganeering, urging the electorate to reject them this time.
