Ashantigold travel to Morocco to face RS Berkane in the second leg fixture of the Caf Confederations Cup game over the weekend.

The miners travel with a slim 3-2 victory going into the second leg fixture with most Ghanaians skeptical about their progress especially considering records of Ghanaian clubs in the Magreb region.

Tricky winger Emmanuel Osei Baffour who rejoined Ashgold from Karela Fc is confident that the team can get a favourable results in their return leg in Morocco.

"If you look at the first game we played well even with the goals we conceded it came with in ten minutes
All we are telling Ghanaians is to support us with their prayers and we the players are very hopeful and Ghanians should expect good results all we need is their prayers" he added.

In the first leg fixture at the Len Clay Stadium,Ashantigold defeated Morrocan side RS Berkane  3-2 in the first leg of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Despite taking a two-goal lead in the first half through Eric Donkor and Shafiu Mumuni, the visitors responded with two quick goals in the second half. Amos Addai got the winner for the home side in the 60th minute.

The miners play against RS Berkane on Saturday 8 pm local time at the Stade Municipal de Berkane .
