Ghana’s Beach Soccer national team has been eliminated from semi-final contention at the 2024 Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations in Egypt but will now shift their focus to securing a fifth-place finish.

The Black Sharks are set to face Mozambique in a crucial classification match on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

Despite a spirited showing in the tournament, Ghana fell short of advancing to the knockout stages.

However, standout performances, particularly from forward Alexander Adjei, have provided hope for the team's future.

Adjei has been one of the tournament's most prolific players, leading the scoring charts with an impressive eight goals in just three matches.

Their opponents, Mozambique, finished third in Group B and will also be eager to end the competition on a high.

The clash between these two sides at the Hurghada Beach Soccer Arena promises to be a competitive and thrilling encounter as both teams look to salvage pride and secure a respectable fifth-place finish.

Kickoff is set for 1:30 PM local time (10:30 GMT), with the Black Sharks hopeful of a strong final performance.

Fans are encouraged to show their support as Ghana aims to end their campaign on a positive note.

Meanwhile, the tournament continues with the semi-final matchups, where hosts Egypt will face defending champions Senegal, and Morocco will take on Mauritania.
