Cameroon have announced their roster for the African U-23 nations cup due to take place from the 8-22 November in Egypt.

Ghana is in the same group as Cameroon, host nation Egypt and Mali.

The squad announced by coach Rigobert Song is highly dominated by Cameroonians who ply their trade outside the country.

With 18 of the 21 players going to Egypt playing for clubs outside Cameroon,only  3 players based in Cameroon made the squad.

The squad contains some highly rated Cameroonian youngsters playing on the fringes of teams in France and across Europe.

Olympique Lyon defender Raphael Anaba, FC Grenada midfielder Eteki Yan, Pierre Fonkeu, Stephane Zobo who play for RC Lens and FC Toulouse in France all made the cut.

Cameroonon will play Ghana's Black Meteors on 8th November, 2019 at the Cairo international stadium in their first group game.

They will also play hosts Egypt and Mali in their subsequent group fixtures.
