The struggle for the title of top scorer in the Omani Football League was ignited after the end of round 19, specifically after Mohsen Jawhar scored a hat-trick to go clear off the other contenders.

Before the heroics of Mohsen, Muscat's Ghanaian striker Lawson Bekui was the top scorer in the 18th round with 10 goals.

The Ghanaian star, on loan from Dhofar Club contributed to translating the simple opportunities to reach double figures in goals, as he rose to the top scorers list in several stages.

Bekui has scored 10 goals so far for his Muscat side- a special case for the team ranked ninth on the league standings.

Al-Ruzaiqi is one of the league's top scorers this season, scoring 9 goals, and most of these goals are crucial to the King’s Cup.

It is noteworthy in Al-Ruzaiqi's goals that he did not score even once from the penalty mark, as Mohsen did with two goals, or Lopez with two goals, or Lawson Bekui with 4 goals.

The Omani League includes many distinguished scorers, such as Al-Nasr scorer Abdul-Rahman Al-Ghassani with 8 goals, and the star of Mirbat Dennis Sesjo, who scored 8 goals, and his team are struggling to land, as is indicated by the brilliance of Yaqoub Abdul Karim and Musa Kamara from Sohar Club.
