Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu has expressed his disappointment following the early elimination of the Black Stars from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Salisu, who returned to France to rejoin AS Monaco, made a crucial clearance in their recent game against Marseille, securing a draw for the Ligue 1 giants in the derby.

Despite the setback at AFCON, Salisu is now fully focused on AS Monaco's objectives.

He mentioned being disappointed by Ghana's AFCON display but emphasized his commitment to contributing to Monaco's success.

"I was obviously disappointed by the premature elimination in the Africa Cup of Nations," Salisu stated. "But now I am focused on AS Monaco because we have objectives and we want to achieve them."
