Ghanaian midfielder Gilbert Koomson has secured a move to Turkish Super League side Kasimpasa from Norwegian side SK Brann.

The Ghanaian finalized the move after passing his mandatory medical in Istanbul on Monday after intense speculation about his future.

He has signed a three year contract with his new side but the transfer fee remains a mystery as his former club SK Brann is yet to announce the move.

Koomson left the club in acrimonious circumstances as the club knocked back offers from the Turkish side as they deemed it too small.

The player literally forced through with the move as he his club were not interested in talking to any of the Turkish side as he boycotted training.

Kasimpasa beat off competition from newly promoted Turkish side Erzurumspor who tabled a bid which was below the valuation of SK Brann.

He leaves SK Brann as the top scorer with eight gals from midfield this season and after spending two years with the side.
