Ghanaian forward Gilbert Koomson is on the verge of completing a move to Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt.
Koomson left Norwegian side SK Brann to Turkish Superliga side Kasimpasa but things did not work out for the exciting forward and is on his way back to the Norwegian league.
There was a lot of buzz and promise when he secured a move to Turkey but he has been a pale shadow of himself there.
The player is close to sealing a move back to Norway as the two clubs are in talks about a deal for the attacker which is expected to be completed before the transfer window closes.
He is expected to sign a two year contract with his new club in the coming hours.
“This is a case we have been working on for a long time. He has an edge with speed and he wanted to come to Glimt.
"In addition, he had a good finish in Brann and I think he is a player who fits well into our culture. It will be fun to work with him in the field and I think it is a very good Glimt signing,” this is the words of Bodo/Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen.
He has in the past plated for SK Brann, Sogndal, BEC Tero Sessana in Thailand among others.
