Non-for-profit organisation, Give Me Hope Foundation says it is set for its mega Needy Child Outreach programme to come off on December 29.

The highlights of the event will be the free eye and general medical screening for the orphans at Royal Seed orphanage home at Bodwase in the Central region.

According to Wisdom Dordoe, the founder of the Foundation, they will donate clothes, education materials and other items.

Give Me Hope Foundation is determined to put smiles in the face of the less privileged in this joyous festive season, restore hopes and inspire young children to greatness.

“We will have a health talk on the importance of healthy living and the medical team will counsel as well as refer those who need further care to various health facilities for treatments,” he said.

He added that there will also be many free fun activities like face painting and there will also be lots of foods and drinks to enjoy and music to dance.

“To crown the event, we will have a surprise performance by a popular hiplife artiste,” he disclosed.

Last year, the Foundation undertook a health screening at Eye of The Lord Orphanage at Nsawan Aboagyiri in the Eastern Region.

The organizers are calling on philanthropists, companies and other well-meaning individuals to contribute to the project by donating clothes, food items, medications, time, et al.

Mr Dordoe said it is time to give back to society especially the less privileged especially children in orphanages so they also enjoy the festive season.

In a related development, on Friday, December 14, which happens to be the birthday of Mr Dordoe, he will embark on the ‘Searching for Christ’ programme to help street children.

“I will be there to share food for the homeless and street children. Will be donating items to the maternity ward of the Kaneshie Polyclinic. We will also be undertaking an awareness campaign against child abuse,” he said.
