Ghana and Accra Great Olympics midfielder Gladson Awako has recovered from a minor injury he sustained at training before the Morocco friendly match in Tuesday.

The veteran midfielder is now available for selection for Saturday's friendly match against Ivory Coast after missing the Morocco clash.

Awako has now been declared fit and has been training with the rest of his teammates as Ghana gears up for the Ivory Coast game on Saturday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Ghana after losing by 1-0 to Morocco will be seeking to atone for the defeat with a face saving win against neighbours Ivory Coast.

The match is to help the two countries prepare for September's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which was initially slatted for this month but has now been rescheduled.
