Days before the onset of MWC 2019 conference, Google has revealed the dates for its annual Google I/O developer conference. The search giant is known for introducing new Android version every time at the conference among other apps, software features and more. The conference will be taking place at the same venue it took place the last time - Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California, US starting May 7 and will end by May 9.
Although Google has not yet revealed the official date of the IO 2019 conference, the May 7 reference was found by a Twitter user named Till Kottmann within hours of posting the puzzle. The reference was hidden inside the puzzle that Google Developer’s official Twitter page posted in order to solve it and get the dates.

This time, the puzzle that usually takes longer to solve, included a 12-line set of codes along with a url that led to a page that voiced those lines. It is not for sure what the puzzle was and what did it imply. However, thanks to Till Kottmann, the date was mentioned in plain text in the Google API codes.

“Join us for IO 2019 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California on May 7th through 9th,” mentioned the text. Last year, Google kicked off its IO 2018 conference on May 8th.

The firm is expected to unveil Android Q, the features of which are being already rumoured. There have been some smartphone OEMs that confirmed the arrival of Android Q last year itself. One such brand was Essential.

Some of the features that are said to be included in Android Q are Dark Theme, app permission revamp and desktop mode. Among these, the Dark Mode seems most likely as Google has already adopted this mode in several of its apps.
