The government under the Akufo Addo administration will on Tuesday February 192019 will inaugurate six newly created Districts in he country.

Speaking ion the the development, the Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah while speaking to the Press in Koforidua in the Eastern Region added that, some Ministers of State have been designated to hold ceremonies that will unveil the Districts simultaneously.

He said, “It is the expectation of government that this will further deepen decentralisation and developments in these newly created districts”.

The new Districts are  Korle Klottey assembly with the capital Osu, Ablekuma Central assembly with the capital Lartebiokorshie and Ayawaso Central assembly with Kokomlemle as its capital.

They also include  Akyease Assembly with Akyease as its capital, Anloga District with Anloga as its capital and the North East Gonja Assembly with Kpalebe as its capital.
