Berekum Chelsea held high flying Accra Hearts of Oak to a goalless draw at home in their match day ten encounter which was played on Saturday afternoon in Berekum.

The two sides cancelled each other out in the course of 90 minutes as both sides created a flurry of chances but none was so efficient to get a goal.

Accra Hearts of Oak started the brighter of the two sides as it is been the case since Kosta Papic took over the team and thought they had a penalty kick when Dominic Eshun felt he was fouled in the box but the referee waved away their appeal.

The Bibires then seized the initiative and went close through their captain Stephen Amankona but he blazed wide.

It was like a pendulum as the game swung to each side with Benjamin Afutu heading inches wide for the away side.

Berekum Chelsea then took stranglehold of the game but were not clinical enough as Richmond Ayi too was in an inspired form to thwart all that was thrown at him by the blues as the first half ended barren.

The home side were knocking at the door as they took the game to the phobians when the second half resumed but the phobians were resolute at the back.

Hearts looked to have lost a bit of bite and steel in the second half as they sat back and soaked the pressure from their host.

Berekum Chelsea did all they could but the phobians did not budge as they both side settled for a share of the spoils.

The draw means the Bibires are yet to lose a game this season at the dreaded Berekum Golden City Park.

Hearts of Oak have now gone five games without a defeat in the Ghana Premier League since Papic's arrival.
