There was a lot of talk about the match day 27 match between Aduana Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Saturday afternoon.

But at the end of 90 minutes there was nothing to separate both teams as the match ended in a stalemate.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko started the better of both sides but the Aduana tactics was clear as they allowed Kotoko to dominate possession and hit them on the counter break.

The porcupine warriors could not take advantage of the half chances that came their way as goalkeeper Joseph Addo also made some good saves.

Serial Kotoko tormentor Samuel Bioh had some good chances but his effort was thwarted by goalkeeper Razak Abalora.

Aduana Stars appealed for a penalty after Bright Agyei was shoved in the box by Mudasiru Salifu but the referee whistled for play to continue.

The best chance of the half fell to former Kotoko player Sam Adams but goalkeeper Razak Abalora made himself big as he saved the goal bound effort.

Not much changed as both teams went into the break with neither side able to get on the score sheet.

The home side came strongly into the game but Kotoko had their chances as Latif Anabila nearly stole all the three points for Kotoko as his long range shot squirmed past the post by inches.

Kotoko Evanss Adomako also stung the palms pf Aduana goalie Joseph Addo as neither side was able to score with the game ending goalless.
