Legon Cities could not put daylight between themselves and the relegation zone as they were held at home by Dreams FC in their match day 21 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The home side dominated the game for large spells but failed to capitalize on the chances that came their way as the Dreams FC rear guard stood very firm.

Legon Cities finally broke the deadlock after top scorer Hans Kwofie headed home a Jonas Attoquaye free kick on the brink of half time.

The home side went into the break with a solitary goal lead but during the second half Dreams Fc came in stronger and pulled parity.

Abdul Jalilu scored the equalizing goal for Dreams FC in the 58th minute as Legon Cities battled to secure all the three points.

Asamoah Gyan came on for the final five minutes and curled a free kick high and over the bar as Legon Cities settled for a draw.
