Ghana FA Vice President George Afriyie has revealed that the performance of the Black Stars including under-fire coach Avram Grant would be reviewed by the Executive Committee at their next meeting.

According to Afriyie, who doubles as chairman of the Black Stars management commitee, the Association will seek answers to the poor form of the senior national team that has left the nation needing a miracle to secure qualification to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Grant has been largely blamed for the Black Stars poor start in the World Cup qualifiers with just one point from two matches and five points behind leaders Egypt.

The Black Stars have gone five matches without a win and it is being speculated that the former Chelsea manager will be a goner before the the Africa Cup of Nations next year in Gabon.

‘’Discussion of a coach is also part of the game. All aspects, even the position of the Chairman can be discussed. Everybody’s position including management, Players as well as Technical team.’’ Afriyie told Joy FM

‘’But collectively, all of us need to be on top of our game to succeed, meaning that if [George Afriyie] is not doing well and if that is the area that we fall short, why not? I have to give way for somebody else to do the job,’’

‘’If I think that it’s the Ministry who are supposed to provide the needed funds and it is not coming then something must be done, somebody must ensure funds are provided.’’

‘’If the coach is not on top of his game why not?, If the players are not doing well based on some worries we need to identify them, solve them and then we move on’’
