French-born Ghanaian striker Grejohn Kyei celebrated a significant achievement as he scored his first-ever goal for Royal Charleroi SC in their dominant 3-0 victory over Beerschot in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League on Sunday.

The match, held at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi, was also a special occasion as Royal Charleroi SC marked their 120th anniversary with a convincing win.

Belgian international Daan Heymans set the tone for the day by opening the scoring in the 17th minute, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Just three minutes after the restart, Kyei doubled Charleroi's advantage by capitalizing on a defensive lapse from Beerschot and finishing neatly from close range.

Antoine Bernier added the finishing touch in the 58th minute, sealing a memorable victory for Royal Charleroi SC with a superb strike.

Kyei, who joined Royal Charleroi on a season-long loan from Standard Liège during the summer transfer window, has now made three appearances for the club and opened his account with this goal.

His contribution helped make the club’s anniversary celebrations even more special.
