Ghana defender Harrison Afful has congratulated his former club Esperance De Tunis after they defeated Egyptian side Al Ahly 3-0 to win a third CAF Champions League title.

Saad Bguir was the unlikely two-goal hero with Anice Badri completing the scoring to give Esperance a 4-3 aggregate victory after they had lost the first leg 3-1.

Harrison Afful, who was a part of the team that won the 2011 edition of the competition, took to Twitter to celebrate with his former side.

The 26-year-old spent six glittering seasons with the Blood and Gold where he won four league titles before moving to join Major League Soccer side Columbus Crew in 2015.
