Hasaacas Ladies talisman, Evelyn Badu has secured a move to Norwegian club Avaldsnes IL on a two and half year deal.

"It is a pleasure to present 19 year old Evelyn Badu from Ghana. She comes from the top club Hassaacas Ladies, a club that was in the final of the CAF Champions League earlier years. CAF is Africa's association of all football nations in Africa. And just our latest signing, Evelyn Badu, was the top scorer in CAF`s Champions League last season." the Norwegian club announced.

Evelyn is an offensively exciting player with good basic skills, says head coach John Arne Riise, and continues. She has a good eye, is a facilitator, and will hopefully give us a lot of joy on the field.

Badu also has two caps for Ghana despite his young age, but no goals. Badu was born in 2002, so he will be 20 next year. The contract with the player is for 2.5 years, until August 2024.

"But it is important to give her time for everything new she wants to experience here in Norway, not just a new country and new culture, but not least another football culture. Despite that, we are betting that Evelyn will be a good addition to our team in 2022", concludes John Arne Riise.

Ghana also has several players in clubs in Europe, including Iceland and Spain.
