Heart of Lions played out a goalless draw with newly promoted Vision FC on matchday six of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season in a closely fought encounter on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams displayed solid defensive efforts, with Heart of Lions continuing to showcase their defensive strength, having conceded only three goals in the league so far.

However, their struggles in attack persisted, as they failed to find the back of the net for the second game in a row.

Despite their defensive resilience, Lions have managed just one victory this season and scored only five goals in six matches, raising concerns about their ability to convert chances into goals.

Vision FC, making their debut in the top-flight, continued their impressive start to the season. They now have nine points, with only one loss, which came against reigning champions Samartex.

Their form has positioned them among the contenders at the top of the table, just three points off the summit.

With the draw, Vision FC sit in sixth place with nine points, while Heart of Lions are in seventh with eight points.

As the season progresses, both teams will be looking to improve their standings.

Lions will aim for a better performance in their next match against Karela United, while Vision FC will seek to build on their strong start in their upcoming fixture.
