Accra Hearts of Oak have appointed U-20 coach Samuel Nii Noi as the club's interim coach after the departure of head coach Samuel Boadu.

The former Medeama coach has overseen a trophy-laden reign at the club as in his first season in the 2020/2021 season he won the League and MTN FA Cup double.

Board Chairman of the club, Togbe Afede met Coach Samuel Boadu on Tuesday morning in a hurriedly arranged meeting and informed him the club wants a mutual termination of his contract and his backroom staff.

He was promoted from the youth team to become Hearts' interim manager after Kosta Papic was sacked in 2020, before leading the team to win 7 points from 9 including a draw against Kotoko.

These crucial points provided a good platform for Samuel Boadu and Hamza to start.
